Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the processing of personal information in connection with Earny (the “Service”). References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the Service. Public listings may be accessed without an account. Third-party platforms and identity providers maintain their own policies.

1. Visitor information and technical measurement

Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, processes connection information, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the Service. Earny does not store IP addresses or device identifiers in its account database. Request-limiting infrastructure uses temporary keys based on an IPv4 address or IPv6 network prefix, together with broader network limits, to prevent abuse.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures public-page usage and performance without analytics cookies. Earny's integration excludes account, authentication and administrative routes. Separate usage events record actions such as opening a listing, applying filters or following a referral link. These events omit account identifiers, email addresses and search text; search length and result counts may be recorded in broad ranges. Events are not used to personalize your rankings.

Where error monitoring is configured, Sentry receives sanitized technical error reports. Our configuration excludes user identity, cookies, request bodies, query parameters and error-message contents. Reports retain limited technical information such as error type, source filename, line number, environment and release. Session replay is not enabled.

2. Google sign-in and authentication records

Google is the Service's sole sign-in provider. Earny requests only the openid, email and profile permissions. We receive your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile-picture URL. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files or contacts, and do not receive your Google password.

We use this information to authenticate you and associate your profile and saved records with your account. Authentication records include session identifiers and expiry information. Google OAuth tokens stored by Earny are encrypted; session records do not retain your IP address or user-agent information. A session lasts up to seven days, subject to expiry, sign-out or account deletion.

3. Profile and account information

Account setup collects country, languages, device access and work interests. Optional fields include payment methods, willingness to complete identity verification, education, available time, reward preferences, minimum earnings preferences and saved filters. These fields do not request identity documents, payment credentials or a residential address.

We retain your saved listings, manually assigned tracking statuses and preference concerning optional product emails. This information supports profile matching, eligibility warnings and account functions. Tracking records do not give Earny access to your accounts on listed platforms. We do not sell your personal information or use your profile to target advertising.

4. Age information

Accounts are available only to persons aged thirteen or older. During onboarding the Service processes a date of birth to calculate age, then discards the date. We retain age in years and the confirmation date and request periodic reconfirmation. An under-thirteen result causes removal of the provisional account and associated sign-in information. Incomplete onboarding records are eligible for removal after twenty-four hours.

5. Providers, disclosures and international processing

• Google provides identity authentication under its Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage, network security, request limiting and public-page analytics.
• Sentry processes the sanitized technical reports described above.

These providers operate internationally, and information may be processed outside your country of residence. Applicable locations, contractual safeguards and legal requirements depend on the provider arrangements and the law applicable to the processing.

Outbound links pass through Earny's redirect route to select the destination and record a usage event. Earny does not append your name or email. The destination may receive ordinary connection information and referral parameters; information you subsequently provide is governed by its own policies.

6. Communications

If you contact us, we process your email address, message and attachments to respond, investigate corrections or address account requests. Correspondence is handled through our email providers separately from the account database. Do not send passwords, identity documents or payment credentials. Correspondence may be retained while an enquiry remains active and as reasonably necessary to document its resolution or meet applicable legal obligations. The product-email preference may be withdrawn in Settings.

7. Retention, deletion and security

Account records are retained while your account exists. Deletion removes the account and associated personal records from the live database. Cloudflare's time-limited database recovery history may retain prior copies for up to thirty days. Account deletion does not automatically delete correspondence held in an email inbox. Usage records without account identifiers may be retained independently of your account.

Technical controls are intended to restrict unauthorized access and disclosure; no system guarantees absolute security. Recovery procedures must reconcile completed account deletions before restored personal records are made available to users.

8. Account controls and legal rights

Settings permits account export, profile amendment, withdrawal of the product-email preference and account deletion. Deletion requires recent authentication. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights of access, erasure, restriction, portability or correction, a right to object to processing, or a right to complain to a competent supervisory authority. Requests may require reasonable verification of account ownership. Submit privacy enquiries through Contact and corrections.

9. Browser storage and Policy revisions

The Cookie and Analytics Policy describes authentication cookies, browser preferences and offline storage. Revisions are identified by the updated date above. Any additional notice or consent required by applicable law remains necessary. This Policy does not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
